Twinkle Khanna Sharing a Self-deprecatory Meme is Why We Love Mrs FunnyBones

Taking a joke on one’s self is quite a sporting spirit to say the least and Twinkle Khanna with her consistent, incisive humour has taken a meme on herself.

The meme template features Captain America’s elevator fight scene when Chris Evans asks “Why is Akshay Kumar’s wife not a big star?” to which Jasper Sitwell, the HYDRA agent asks, “Why?”. And there, Captain America asks, “Because Twinkle Twinkle Little Star.” The meme was shared by Twinkle, who protested against the size discrimination she was subjected to.

The actress has often been praised for her witty, self-deprecating tweets and here comes another one.

Taking to social media with a sarcastic jibe, Twinkle wrote, “How do you know if you are a bonafide star? When you become part of a famous meme. #LittleStarProtestsAgainstSizeDiscrimination.”

The meme-post went viral drawing for the actress’ wit and writing.

Recently the actor, producer and author took to Instagram and shared a glimpse of mother Dimple Kapadia from the sets of her forthcoming Hollywood film, Tenet.

Twinkle Khanna made her debut in Bollywood with Barsaat in 1995 and eventually took a break from acting until 2001 with her last relesaed movie, Love Ke Liye Kuch Bhi Karega.

In 2015, Twinkle became a debutant writer with her first book, Mrs Funnybones, and it became a huge success for its extremely witty writing. She eventually became the author of other bestsellers including The Legend Of Lakshmi Prasad and Pyjamas Are Forgiving.

In 2018 Twinkle also turned a producer with Akshay-starring PadMan, which created awareness about menstrual hygiene and went on to receive a National Award for the best film on social issues. Meanwhile, she has also been the co-producer of other movies including, Tees Maar Khan,

Patiala House, Khiladi, Dilwale etc.
